NEW CONFERENCE: The Trojans will face a lot of new competition in the O-K Silver conference, after competing for several years in the O-K Blue. Fruitport head coach Randy Johnson expects Hopkins and Belding to be the teams to beat in the conference race.

SEASON OUTLOOK: At first glance, it may look like the Trojans could be a year or two out from being at their best, with the vast majority of the athletes being sophomores or freshmen. But Fruitport has a lot of strong athletes on the roster, and many Fruitport varsity teams have done very well over the past few months as they broke into the O-K Silver.
